Sometimes the drawings I make inspire a story, as it happened with Not Like Thelma & Louise. Most of my stories are autobiographical. I have written about my experiences while growing up in the Soviet Union (Happy New Year, Dear Comrades!), and coming to New York in the early 90s and trying to fit into a new strange reality (Teddy’s Affair).
